Microsoft Dynamics 365 For Financial Management

Because Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations (formerly Dynamics AX) is a native cloud application, Microsoft now releases new updates twice a year in fall and spring. This allows Microsoft to add new features much faster than ever.

Customers can choose if and when they want to receive this version. It also provides a level of flexibility that most cloud application providers don't have. There are various online sources from where you can find Microsoft Dynamics 365 consulting in Washington DC .

Tracking Asset Value

Tracking Asset Value Using the "Book" Concept – In previous versions of Dynamics AX, two different types of valuations were used to track the value of fixed assets: depreciation and book value models.

The Fall Edition combines these two concepts into one valuation concept called the Book, which has all the functions of both the value model and the depreciation book. This function includes an option to disable posting in the ledger.

Books that are recorded in the register are usually used for corporate financial reporting, while books that are not recorded in GL can be used for tax reporting purposes.

Intercompany Depreciation – You can now start a depreciation cycle for assets of all legal entities on one page. You can also choose to auto-publish logs once they are generated, or you can send log creation and publication to batch processing so deletions are performed in the background.

This fix reduces inefficiencies because you don't have to run a separate amortization for each company. This upgrade also allows better centralized management of your fixed assets.
